The building on the right of the photo is the Old Swan pub, 7 Swan Lane (Swan Lane ran parallel to Black Raven Alley). The archway on the right led through to the City Commercial Wharf on Old Swan Lane.

The entire area was destroyed during the first days of the Blitz in Sept 1940.
