I have been regularly publishing the work of painter Nicholas Borden since we first met, when he was painting on the street in Bethnal Green in 2013, and these twenty painting comprise his work of the past year.

    The figures and the colours are as if painted by a visionary child. Something magical about even blocks of flats.

    Love St. Martin’s Lane and Sutton Place and Camden Lock. He’s got the perspective right, and the colors – these are paintings one would have love to have in one’s home.

    What a delight! Sometimes the colours and perspectives teach one to see things anew. I especially like the two of housing blocks.and Sutton Place.
